An ‘Astro’ Coffee table designed by Victor Wilkins in the mid 1960s and manufactured by G Plan. This fabulous table is fashioned from Teak and has a glass inset top. This example is in Excellent Condition. It does have a few surface scuffs here and there and the glass top also has a few light scratches due to general use over the years. Overall a really nice example in very usable condition. It would benefit from a light clean and polish. The table measures approx. 33 inches in diameter x18 inches high. This gorgeous example comes in great vintage condition with its original Chocolate Brown leather and Chrome tubular frame construction. The Alpha range was designed for Pieff in the late 1960s by Tom Bates. Pieff where a British company based in the West Midlands from the early 1960s through to the 1980s. Pieff Products like this where retailed at Harrods & Heals. This lovely example is in very good usable condition. It is a very comfortable chair into which you sink. We have used it in our home for several years and visitors always comment on how comfortable it is. The only reason we are selling this goregous chair is that we have changed the colour scheme in our home. It still has its original deep chocolate brown leather which has a lovely soft vintage patina. The surface of the leather has some light cracking in places giving it an authentic aged / lived-in quality. The chrome is still mostly still in pretty good condition. This chair could do with some light restoration and TLC ! There is a small burn/tear in the top cusion and the Chrome base does have some surface rust/pitting here and there. (See pics) Overall I nice example of a rare British 20th Century design in very usable condition. Out of stockWe a pleased to offer for sale a large Chinese Blue & White Qing Dynasty Ginger Jar with a ‘double ring’ mark and decorated in the Prunus / Blossom pattern and dating to the Kangxi Period of 1622 -1722. This gorgeous example is hand decorated with an under glaze blue to a high standard with a ‘Prunus Blossom Pattern” on a blue/grey ground. This lovely example is in lovely condition. No chips cracks or repairs! It measures approx. 6.25 inches high and 6 inches across its widest It has a deep welled base which is marked with a hand painted ‘double ring’ typical of the Kangxi Period 1662-1722. Note: It does however have some faults/fritt marks on the body, which is common for jars of this period, and would have occurred in the firing process. Out of stockWe are delighted to offer for sale this gorgeous Antique Chinese Wine Pot & Cover or Teapot. This lovely rare example dates to the 18thC Qing Dynasty, Kangxi Period 1662 - 1727. It is hand decorated in delicate pastel enamels in a ‘Famille Rose’ pallette and hand gilding, It is not marked but its shape and design is typical of the Kangxi Period. Both sided of the body are hand enamelled with designs that include, Figurines, Butterflies and a Stylized Dog in Gardens landscapes. The body is best described as bottle shaped with a narrow rim that stand on deep welled foot. It has a delicate ‘thumb loop’ handle and a narrow ‘swans neck’ spout. It comes complete with its original cover which is hand decorated with lotus leaves and a gilded finial.This is very rare these days as these are nearly always missing! It is in remarkable condition for its age. It does show signs of wear in the gilding and it has one very tiny flea bite on the rim of the pot. No Nasty Chips, Cracks or Repairs. Overall a gorgeous example in stunning condition. Measurements: 6.25 inches in height x 5.25 across the spout to handle. These early Chinese Ceramics always have some tiny faults /fritts on the body which would have occurred in the firing process. Out of stockWe are deighted to offer for sale this gorgeous piece of Mid Century Scandinavian Interior design. A Danish Drinks Trolley designed by Sika Mobler. It has 2 tiers with reversible lift off top shelf/tray. Finished in a gorgeous teak and white melamine. Manufactured by the Danish Furniture makers Sika Mobler in the mid 1950s through to the late 1960s. This fabulous trolly is fashioned from a gorgeous honey coloured Teak which has acheived a beautiful deep patina over the years. It stands on its original 4 casters. It also comes complete with its original makers label on the underside. This example is in Excellent Condition. It does have a some light surface scuffs here and there due to general use over the years. The teak top also has a faint ring mark and there is a small piece of veneer/trimm missing on the bottom shelf. This is a geniue loft find and so comes in original untouched and unrestored condition. It would benefit from some light restoration and a good polish. Overall a really nice example in very usable condition. In need of some light TLC. This trolly measures approx. 26 inches in length x 17.5 inches deep x 25.5 inches high. Bio: Sika Mobler are the largest maker of wicker/rattan furniture in denmark to date but in 1950 - 1960 they out sourced furniture design in teak and metal to furniture makers on the island funen in denmark this cocktail trolley was designed and made in the 1950’s and can be attributed to similar work by Mogens Koch. Each bowl is hand decorated in vivid enamels and gilding. Each bowl has a slightly different design. The designs include: Famille Rose, Canton, Dragon & Flaming Pearl and an Imperial Yellow example with Drgons chasing Flaming Pearls. All are marked with various Red Seal marks. One is a little later an simple marked 'CHINA' All are in Excellent displayable condition! 7 of them have No Chips Cracks or Repairs! Just some very light wear in the here and there! One has a small rim nibble! No Seroius problems! Overall a gorgeous collection in fabulous displayble condition. These where produced by Alsterfors of Sweden and designed by Per-Olof in the early 1970s. This example is fully signed on the base (P Ström 70) These where orignally produced in 3 different colours. Tangerine, Green and Sky Blue. This particular example is fashioned from Sky Blue Glass with an Opaque White lining. Its ‘stepped’ design is typical of the Pop Art designs of the era and would make a fabulous statement piece in a Mid Century interior design scheme, but would be equally at home in a Modern Contemporary Setting. It measures apprx. 9.5 inches in height x 6.25 inches across its front x 4 inches deep. Its condition is Excellent for its age.! It does have one small bruise on the corner rim (See pics) and a small surface nibble on the white inner rim. Nothing to spoil the overall look of this piece. Out of stockWe are delight to offer for sale a gorgeous piece of Archaic Chinese Craftsmanship. A Chinese Bronze Ritual Wine Ewer or Pitcher fashioned from a very heavy weight bronze with a gorgeous Verdigris patination in Turquoise Greens and Chocolate Browns. Its design dates back to the Song Dynasty. This example most likely dates to the Qing Dynasty, late Qianlong period 18thC to early 19thC. It comes complete with its original bronze stopper, which has a stylized bird perched as the finial. The body shape is best described as a flattened teardrop with a long narrow neck and on each side it is pressed a different stylized Chinese characters and floral motifs. It has a very slender Swans neck spout and a shepherd hook shaped handle fixed at the lower body and middle neck. It stands on a raised and wide flared foot and is pressed in the base with a square seal mark, which is a little difficult to decipher. It is in Excellent Condition. No Dents Cracks or Repairs! It would have had a small chain linking the Cover to the handle which is missing. The cover has small moulding fault in the rim, which would have been recreated in the firing process and only adds to it charm and authenticity. Otherwise No Serious damage. An assay mark for Exeter and makers mark ’ WRS’ for William Rawlings Sobey and date mark for 1853. This lovely example in excellent condition. No Splits or Repairs! The bowl does have a few light light dinks/ripples which could easily be improved by an enthusiast or collector. It is also mongrammed on the handle with the Intial ‘W’. Overall a nice solid example in useable / displayable condition. It measures approx. 8.75 inches in length and weighs approx .60g These would make a very worth addition to an Antique Silver Collection. Exeter Silversmith William Rawlings Sobey: Following on from the Stone family silversmiths, William Rawlings Sobey (1811 – 1852) is a sought-after Exeter silversmith. Born in Exeter around 1811, his makers marks are registered from 1833 to about 1852. He was a contemporary of John Stone, and like John Stone, he manufactured spoons, butterknives and other flatware in the Fiddler and Old English patterns. The 1841 & 1851 census returns show him as resident in All Hallows Goldsmith Street. The 1851 White’s Devonshire Dictionary lists his workshop as being at 1 Queen Street.William Rowlings Sobey William Rowlings Sobey Unlike John Stone, William Rowlings Sobey was not folllowed by his son into the business. These are Classic English Mid-century Design. Stylized figures of a prize bulls in a head down pose. These where produced by Trentham in various sizes and colours. These particular examples are glazed in a gorgeous Emerald green glaze with mottled green tails and horns. Green is one of the most sort after colours at the moment by Interior Designers as Emerald Green & Gold Interior Design schemes are on trend right now! DIMENSIONS of each: The larger Bull Height is approximately 6” inches height x 12 inches length. The Samller Bull Height is approximately 2.25 inches height x 4.25 inches length. Out of stockWe are delighted to offer for sale a fabulous Vintage Blues Parlour Acoustic Guitar dating to around the late 1940s through to the mid 1950s. This gorgeous example is in excellent ‘Vintage’ preloved playable condition. It has lots of light surface dinks, usage wear and small scuffs on the body! The body has a sprouse or pitch pine front, inlaided with a veneered banded decoration around the rim and sound hole. It is a loft find and comes in complete untouched and unrestored vintage condition! It has its original set of machine heads, Bridge, Pick Guard and an orginal set of Wooden Bridge Pegs and loads vintage charm and relic appeal! The neck does have a slight bow to it making for quite a high action toward the lower frets! This guitar is in excellent vintage condition but will most likely need some TLC/Light Restoration and adjustment and should be viewed with this in mind! It has a lovely vintage twangy blues sound. The body has acheived a gorgeous deep golden Honey coloured patina achieved over many years. The back and sides have cherry coloured Sunburst finish. It is unbranded but I have had very similar examples in my collection that have ‘Made in Germany’ Labels on the headstocks? Overall a gorgeous example in very playable condition. It currently comes with a fully set of nylon strings but these look very old and it could probably do with fresh set! Out of stockWe are delighted to offer for sale a gorgeous Vintage Fender Squier Telecaster Affinity Series Electric Guitar, finished in a gorgeous Gloss Antique Cream with Cream Pick guard. It has 3 pickups and a gorgeous Cream Gloss finish to the body. It also has black dots set into a high gloss maple neck and is fully branded Fender Squier Telecaster Head Stock. Fully Ajustable Truss Rod. This 2005 example is of Chinese manufacture and has a serial number CY51013898. The first number following the CY is the year. Example: CY5xxxxxx = 2005. Overall a gorgeous Telecaster guitar with a really cool vintage looks dating back to 1951. The neck is very slender and has a nice smooth gloss finish so it is very easy to play! It is a great guitar to play as is or as project guitar for a customer build! These early Fender Affinity Telecasters are gaining in value and so is a good investment! It does have a few light scuffs here and there due to use. It does also have one dink on the bottom edge of the body which has chipped through the Cream finish of the body. See pics! This does not effect play in anyway, its just cosmetic and could be easliy tided up or left as is?. It does also have a couple of cracks in the Cream finish. Which are just skin deep! So no really serious problems! It is also missing the small flick switch knob. these are readerly available online for pennys. It would benefit from a new set of strings! We are delighted to offer for Sale this gorgeous piece of English Mid Century Interior Design. A Solid Teak & Figured Rosewood Sideboard manufactured by Elliots of Newbury (EON). This gorgeous example was made in the mid 1960s. This fabulous example has 3 drawers wide drawers which are finished with a horizontal reading. One of the drawers is lined in grey baize and divided to accommodate cutlery. It also has 3 cupboards which all have removable internal selves. The cupboard doors still have their fabulous ‘folded dart’ shaped handles which are finished in a contrasting ebonized dark lacquer. The two cupboards left and right are hinged on the vertical and the centre cupboard is hinged at the horizontal. See pics. The whole sideboard has excellent proportions and stands on 4 Short Dansette style tapered legs. Its minimalist clean lines and build quality was a direct response and in competition to the Scandinavian pieces of the same period. Condition: This fabulous example is in Excellent Preloved condition. It does have a few light surface scuffs and marks due to use, but no major damage to note! Measurements: 66” L x 17.5” W x 29.5” H 168cm L x44.5cm W x75cm H Overall a lovely example in lovely original and unrestored condition. Delivery included in the sale price!

This lovely example stands on a wide, stepped and square base. It has a square stem leading up to a Green Bakelite disk inset and is finished at the top with a push switch and a chrome gallery. Its is in Excellent usable condition. Although currently it is fitted with a vintage 2 core cable, so I would recommend it is checked by a qualified electrian before use! It is in Excellent condition. Although the chrome has pitted in places on the base! No Major damage! It comes complete with its chrome gallery but it will need a glass shade. The diameter of the gallery is 82mm so it can accommodate a shade at around 80mm diameter or smaller! It could be used as a Table lamp, Bedside lamp or as a center piece lighting feature. We are delighted to offer for sale this gorgeous piece of Country House Interior Design. A fabulous ‘English Oak & Leather Studded Carver. This lovely example has a gorgeous Leather studded Back and Seat with an Oak frame. It has Oak arm rests and Oak turned front legs. This rare example is late 19th Century and dates to the 1880s. This charming example has loads of Character! The leather studded upholstery is in Excellent usable condition and has a gorgeous deep ‘Chestnut’ coloured patina acheived over many years. The leather is studded with large Brass studs which also have a fabulous patina. Overall a really nice solid chair in very usable Antique condition with bags of lived in charm. The leather seat has been professionally replumped and rewebbed using the original leather which has been fed and waxed and no Nasty splits or tears! So it need no resto and is a really comfortable chair in ready to use condition! The Oak frame is nice and solid and has lots of usage patina, surface scuffs and wear giving it loads of authentic Charm and Antique appeal. This is a really lovely solid chair which is good for another 100 years. It would make a fabulous and authentic addition to a Country House Interior Design scheme or a kirky addition to a Contemporary scheme.
